We aim to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity in which all those connected to the school feel proud of their identity and are able to participate fully in school life.
Manchester Hospital School is proud to have achieved a Bronze Stonewall School and College Champion award. The award recognises our ongoing work in tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying , as well as celebrating diversity. Our next step is to achieve a silver award this year.

The Black Famingo won! Our Manchester Hospital School Shadowers wrote fabulous reviews for Dean Atta's book. Congratulations to Dean Atta for winning the 2020 Carnegie Shadower's Choice Award.
Stonewall have produced a recommended list of books for primary and secondary age students. The books are inclusive and help to spread the message that 'difference' is something to celebrate!
